I have not been blogging. Maybe the key (if it is still a relevant word) is to just write things without putting effort in. As stock prices move lower there should be opportunities. With employment data having been positive, Paychex could eventually payoff. It does pay a dividend.
The Small Business Optimism Index is at or near record highs. “It says Sixty-one percent of owners reported hiring or trying to hire, with 87 percent of those reporting few or no qualified workers. Thirty-eight percent of owners reported job openings they could not fill in the current period, unchanged from last month.”
Paychex offers human resources outsourcing to small and medium businesses. However, its recent data is not particularly impressive to me. (Evidently cybersecurity is an important consideration).
Maybe if the market tanks Paychex stock could be worth it. However, supposedly a stock market crash can cause a recession; and the relationship is not as strong the other way around. If there is a recession, then at least two things could happen: (1) businesses might stop hiring, or actually eliminate jobs or workers, (2) investors could be concerned enough about it as to avoid the stock.
