Several years ago, when having published blog posts expressing both interest and dismay at corporations known as “Non-Practicing Entities (NPE),” which for the most part just owned patents and used them to sue other businesses for patent infringement, I got a message from a representative of one. The company was suing MasterCard and Visa, claiming that their implementation of microchips in credit cards amounted to theft of intellectual property. The law suit failed, and though one could have done well in the shares that were priced at under $1 if he or she sold before trial, the valuable information pertained to the credit card upgrade process. A short while later, I found out about a microchip company that had cornered the bank card market and its stock did very well over the long term as technology advanced past just the magnetic strip.

The key to the success of this transaction is the 10-year offtake agreement for the ethanol produced which creates valuable stability for Attis as it plans its capital improvement strategy for the facility.
As a reminder, for every pound of cellulosic ethanol produced, Attis can recover 1.3 pounds of high purity lignin. Using Attis technology, Companies, large and small that produce biomass or create waste, are able to monetize and unlock 60% of that biomass that simply discarded and dumped, creating additional stress on the biosphere. For smaller companies, this helps them increase profits, reduce their carbon footprint and create additional green jobs. This is an untapped resource that will help many companies revolutionize their manufacturing, sustainability all while increasing their income.

According to the video source material, as a source of carbon it holds the key to reducing our dependence on fossil fuels…convert to gasoline which can more than double the fuel production from biomass. Addiction to fossil fuels—biomass historically only for its cellulose, bioplastics that replace polyethylene and polypropylene.
